Currently, my husband and I are running on limited income....namely his. I'm still currently looking for some form of employment (fast food would work if they would take me!), but still no luck. So, we've been looking into being able to continue prepping with any extra few bucks. We also are a one vehicle family.
Bulk grains are a must, and will be on of our main list of "bucket items"...stores of dried goods we can keep in your standard 5 gallon bucket.
Our plan is to spend around 10 dollars a week just on these items to put in the buckets we already have. That we can budget.
Good luck finding a job, and storing some food. My food stores are in a storage unit over 30 miles from our house right now, and it kills me to think that if something happened they would be useless to me!!
